Explanation of Condition

Loss of the blood supply to a region of bone, typically involving a joint. Commonly affected areas include the hip, foot and wrist. It is associated with steroid use and sickle cell disease, but may also happen spontaneously.

Uncertain risk of donation. May worsen condition.
