Explanation of Condition

Excess production of the hormone aldosterone, commonly by a benign tumour of the adrenal gland. Causes high blood pressure and abnormalities in blood electrolyte levels.

Guidance

Accept if condition adequately controlled with medication or tumour has been surgically resected.
