Explanation of Condition

Presence of an antibody of the cell surface membrane phospholipids or anchoring proteins. May predispose to blood clots in certain individuals.

Guidance

Acceptable unless associated with a proven blood clot or recurrent miscarriages (antiphospholipid syndrome). Discuss with medical officer.
