Guidance
Establish reason for taking, and check this is not a cause for exclusion.
Donors should not use aspirin for seven days prior to donation.
Other NSAIDs should be stopped three days prior to donation or commencement of G-CSF, whichever is earlier.
NSAIDs may be recommenced immediately post-harvest. However, aspirin should be avoided for three days post bone-marrow harvest, and for one week if a donor has a documented thrombocytopenia (<80 x10^9) after PBSC harvest.
