Guidance
May be acceptable if fully treated and more than 12 months have passed since recovery. Confirmatory microbiological tests must be performed to exclude recent infection. Discuss with a microbiologist if necessary.
After deferral period, a full sexual history should be taken to re-establish donor risk.
