Guidance

Discuss each case with medical officer and inform transplant centre.

Acceptable

Transfusion given more than 12 months prior to donation;

Transfusion given within Western Europe, North America, Australia or New Zealand;

Unacceptable

Transfusion given outside Western Europe, North America, Australia or New Zealand;
