Includes ear and body piercing, permanent or semi-permanent makeup and tattoos, platelet rich plasma (PRP) facials, derma-rolling, botox, fillers and other injectable cosmetic procedures.

Guidance

- Tattooing (licensed in UK) --> no deferral

- Tattooing (non-UK or unlicensed) --> defer 3 months

- Piercing (licensed in UK) --> no deferral

- Piercing (non-UK or unlicensed) --> defer 3 months

However, this time period may be reduced at CT/Work-up at the discretion of the transplant centre.
