Explanation of Condition
Disorder of attention associated with hyperactivity, usually affecting children but occasionally persisting in to adulthood.
Some may be treated with amphetamine-based medications, such as Ritalin.
Guidance
There are no realistic means of assessing ability to donate without formal psychiatric review. Therefore, at recruitment, accept if donor declares that the condition is stable (regardless of medication), that they can give informed consent, and that they can commit to the process of donation.
