Explanation of Condition
Inflammation of the brain, usually caused by a virus such as herpes simplex virus (HSV).
Guidance
Acceptable if at least one year from full recovery and underlying organism is not otherwise unacceptable.
Enquire about seizures, and see Epilepsy if necessary.
Discuss every case with medical officer.
