Autoimmune condition causing scaling and redness of the skin, in characteristic patches.

Guidance
Unacceptable if severe or widespread, or has ever suffered from psoriatic arthropathy (joint involvement). Unacceptable if has received more than one course (up to three months) of UV treatment. Unacceptable if requires systemic immunosuppression.
Mild and moderate cases, treated with topical therapy (tar, creams etc...) or a single course of UV therapy (PUVA) are acceptable. Retinoic acid derivatives such as acitretin are acceptable, as long as the appropriate time period has passed since their administration and donation. See Retinoic Acid Derivatives.
