Acceptable at CT/work-up if performed by a NHS healthcare provider, or an independent practitioner with appropriate qualification including:
The General Medical Council
The Nursing and Midwifery Council
The General Dental Council
The General Chiropractic Council
The General Optical Council
The General Osteopathic Council
The Health Professions Council
In all cases inform TC at work-up
Inform TC if carried out within 3 months. If no appropriate qualification can be provided a 3 month deferral period should be applied. However, this may be reduced at the discretion of the transplant centre.
