Unacceptable
Diagnosed thrombophilia in association with at least one episode of thrombosis (Blood Clot);
Diagnosed high risk thrombophilia (protein C, protein S or antithrombin deficiency) even if the donor has not suffered from thrombosis (Blood Clot);
Diagnosed Anti-Phospholipid Syndrome
Acceptable
Diagnosed low risk thrombophilia (Factor V Leiden, Prothrombin 20210 mutation) of donor has no history of thrombosis (blood clot)
Family history of thrombosis with any thrombophilia other than protein C, protein S or antithrombin deficiency.
