Explanation of Condition
Non-cancerous tumour of the pituitary gland leading to excessive natural human growth hormone production. This causes enlargement of the bones, particularly the jaw and hands, and increases the risk of hypertension, stroke and heart disease.
Guidance
Discuss with medical officer. Assess on individual basis. Accept if successfully operated on, free of medication and meets other criteria
