Explanation of Condition

Infection caused by a yeast organism (Candida albicans). Vaginal candida infection is commonly known as thrush.

Guidance

Vaginal candida: acceptable.

Oral thrush: Check for underlying cause and discuss with medical officer. Not acceptable if cause unknown.
