Explanation of Condition

Fainting occurs when your body overreacts to certain triggers, such as the sight of blood or extreme emotional distress. Your blood pressure and heart rate drop suddenly and the blood flow in your brain decreases. It leads to a brief loss of consciousness, which does not require specific treatment.
