Explanation of Condition
Fainting occurs when your body overreacts to certain triggers, such as the sight of blood or extreme emotional distress. Your blood pressure and heart rate drop suddenly and the blood flow in your brain decreases. It leads to a brief loss of consciousness, which does not require specific treatment.
Guidance
Acceptable only if infrequent and not associated with needle-phobia. Otherwise donor is not fit to donate neither PBSC nor BM.
