Explanation of Condition

Inherited neurological disorder causing progressive loss of motor control, characterised by involuntary 'dance-like' movements (chorea). The gene responsible is found on the X chromosome and thus the disease is much more common in males.

Guidance

Unacceptable if symptomatic due to procedural difficulties in PBSC harvest.
